Have You Heard Of Tandem Language Partners?
One of the greatest online tools for studying Spanish is to exchange emails with a native Spanish speaker. Here's how it works...
It's completely free, you sign up indicating the target language you wish to learn and declare your own native language too. Using simple parameters the service will link you with a native Spanish speaker who is looking to improve their English.
It's like an exchange of expertise. In other words, you will help them with their English and in return they will help you with your Spanish.
Not only do you get an expert personal tutor but also the possibility of a new friend you could go and visit on holidays in the future.
I've had tandem email partners many times and still have friends today as a direct result of it. I've also visited tandem partners on my holidays after first knowing them through email exchange.
